Terms of Service
Acceptance
By booking an appointment with The Hair Network, you acknowledge and accept the following terms of service.
Appointments & Deposits
All appointments require a security deposit, which will be deducted from the total cost of your service on the day of your appointment.
Deposits may be refunded or transferred only when more than 48 hours’ notice is provided for cancellations or rescheduling.
Appointment Confirmation
All clients will receive an automated confirmation message five (5) days prior to their appointment.
Appointments must be confirmed at least 24 hours prior. Failure to confirm will result in the appointment being cancelled.
Please note: this is an automated system and can only accept “YES” or “NO” responses. Personal messages cannot be received.
Changes & Cancellations
Cancellations, late cancellations, or no-shows within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur a $100 cancellation fee or 50% of the booked service value (whichever is greater).
This fee may be charged to the card on file or deducted from the deposit.
We reserve the right to decline future bookings for repeat late cancellations or no-shows.
Scheduled services cannot be cancelled upon arrival at the appointment.
Late Arrivals
We operate on strict appointment times. Clients arriving 15 minutes or more late may be unable to be accommodated.
If this occurs, the Changes & Cancellations policy will apply.
Consultations & Service Expectations
All services begin with a detailed consultation to ensure clarity around goals, hair history, and suitability. While inspiration images are welcomed, results may vary based on hair condition, previous services, and maintenance history.
By proceeding with your service, you acknowledge and accept the professional recommendations made by your stylist in the interest of maintaining hair integrity and achieving the best possible result.
Pricing Transparency & Variations
All prices quoted are a guide only. Final pricing may vary depending on hair length, thickness, time required, product usage, and service complexity.
Any variations will be discussed during your consultation prior to commencing the service.
Code of Conduct
The Hair Network is a curated and intimate space. Disruptive, unruly, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in refusal of service and future bookings.
Due to the size of our salon, we are unable to accommodate additional guests or children, with the exception of feeding mothers.
Please notify the salon prior to your appointment so appropriate arrangements can be made.
Photography Consent
During your appointment, you may be asked to appear in photos or videos for The Hair Network’s website and social media platforms.
If you do not consent to photography or filming, please inform your stylist prior to your service.
Service Guarantee
In accordance with Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) guidelines, any concerns regarding services or products must be reported within two (2) weeks of the original appointment, either by phone or in person.
Where appropriate, The Hair Network will rectify the service or replace the product at no additional charge within two (2) weeks of the issue being reported.
Refunds are not offered on services performed, in line with ACCC regulations.
Privacy Policy
The Hair Network may collect and store personal information including your name, contact details, and payment information for booking and service purposes.
Your information is kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties.
